For years, Ariana cycled through addiction, arrests and the criminal justice system. Nothing seemed to change her trajectory until people within that same system began working together to help her find another way forward.
Another Way Forward is a documentary podcast from the Collier County Sheriff’s Office about addiction, accountability, recovery and second chances. Through Ariana’s story, it explores how law enforcement, the courts, probation and treatment providers came together to help her confront addiction and rebuild her life.
Her path wasn’t easy. There were setbacks and consequences, but also people who held her accountable, believed in her and gave her the opportunity to change.
Today, Ariana is in recovery and using her experience to help others.
